I felt really moody most of today, then I remembered....
Rob wants......to give you......a high five.....get ready.......

If you're familiar with the story of "Noah's Ark" - in it's various guises - you will know of Noah's frustration and the ridicule he endured whilst trying to do God's work; struggling to convince people to have faith in god. In the movie Evan Almighty - one of my favourite movies - God describes the Ark he asked Evan to build as one Act of Random Kindness.
The symbolism of the A.R.K. portrayed in Evan Almighty encapsulates a beautiful ability we have as scentient beings; to act unselfishly for no reason other than to seek benefit in creating benefit for the sake of other's.

We can warm eachother's spirits, and create positive energy with something as simple as, I dunno, a high five?

Rob of the - High Five Escalator masterminds - improveverywhere.com, speaks of his A.R.K.

It was 8:30 in the morning so people were tired and not in a good mood, but once people connected with my hand, they almost all laughed and smiled. Everyone should start their day with high fives. My hand was a little sore, but it made it through. I think 2,000 high fives is probably the maximum a hand can take.

Even though some people didn't reciprocate or remained cold and stone-faced on the outside, I can bet that no matter what they were going through - at that moment - a part of them smiled inside.

I actually drafted this blog a few days ago, but didn't find the time to finish it, but today when I was feeling moody, I remembered Rob, watched the video and made time to finish this blog.

Hopefully if you havent seen it before, it'll warm you as much as it did me.
